Camping
The Bioelba camping site has 8 spacious shady camping places spread over a large pinewood and mediterranean Macchia!!! It is a unique camping environment in the mild, Mediterranean climate of Elba. The beautiful camping site is situated directly on the Ferrato beach and is surrounded by the Tuscan Archipelago National Nature Park.
To the south of the camping site by the beach, starts the vast area of the unforgettable “Costa dei Gabbiani” (Coast of the silver gulls) with its numerous small bays, accessible only by foot or by boat.
A 13 km strip of coastal road, closed to traffic, is an excellent track for lovers of mountain biking. For those who prefer walking, there are various footpaths from the coast road and around Monte Calamita. A short distance from the camping site, on the Ginepro beach, is the entrance to the free climbing site.
For snorkelling lovers, there is the Marine National Park which is a fantastic place close to the camping site. The nature reserve in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Europe and is rich in native flowers and fauna.It is possible to buy the company’s products such as olive oil, Ansonica dell’Elba, Mirto and Limoncino.
On the Bioelba camping site there is a common use barbecue, fridges as well as indoor and outdoor showers (heated by solar panels). And, of course, the sea is within easy reach.
Activities offered within the area
Horse riding, golf, diving, and rental of sailing boats or motor/rubber boats, mountain bikes and scooters. During the summer season on the Straccoligno beach, 300 meters away, you can find a self-service bar/pizzeria/restaurant with take-away meals for guests of the BioElbacamping site.
Also for sale are organic farm products such as olive oil and wine.
